I don’t drink an $8 coffee or latte each day, but most of my co-workers do. That’s $160 per month they spend without thinking (well some pause when swimsuit season approaches) twice about it. About $1700 each year when you take out vacations and sick days. That’s 3X my Premium Plus membership. And WA give me lots of love with none of the handles! I’ve been a learner at WA since 2015 and that has been the main reason I upgraded two days after joining for free. WA is NOT A GET RICH QUICK SCHEME. It isn’t a community that is out for a fast buck. It’s a place where you learn at your own pace, implement at your own pace and scale your online business at your own pace.
Technology has always been a keen interest of mine for most of my life. In the late 90’s I saw in my mind the idea for creating an “Internet Mall” with affiliate links organized on graphically pleasing pages. I did several drafts in Dreamweaver of my ideas. WA gives you amazing tools to work with to start and grow your own online business but there is definitely work and learning to be done. It does not promise as many scams do, that you that you make a few clicks and “tah-dah” you have an instant money making machine while you sleep. Please, if that were at all possible, do you think someone would actually share that kind of information with anyone else?
Over the years I have debated cancelling my membership or deciding whether it’s worth it to upgrade, but then I deep dive into some of the lessons or new areas of the site and I read tons of posts from folks who are making it a success and I get inspired to do more myself. I usually end up learning a ton more about web design which I really enjoy and I decide how far I take it.
WA is for adults. People who are in control of their time and finances. There is a huge all-you-can consume buffet of information and I never feel pressure from anyone to bite off more than I can chew. It also has a very large genuine community that understand what it is like to be looking for a better way to pay the bills so you can enjoy more of the things life offers.
I’m not only talking the fancy house, car or trips, I’m talking about getting more out of your allotment of time on this earth. Picking your kids up at 2:30pm and listening to their day. Leisurely taking them to dance class or soccer or chess club not frantically rushing from work in traffic and missing their recital. Having the freedom from a 9-5 cubicle to know what the sun feels like on your skin while you sit on your deck at 11:15am or 3:28pm. Or strolling in a park at non-rush hours and enjoying the industry and flight of a butterfly or bee. Having the time to think, dream or just do nothing. All of that is possible if you decide to learn the skills to change your work style.
So for beginners, I say try it out for free for a bit and get your feet wet.

Here’s the thing. If at any point it isn’t for you? Simple: leave. You’ll probably get an email from Carson or Kyle (the actual founders) asking you for feedback on what didn’t work for you so they can fix what might be broken but that’s it. No one will hound you to come back. You can still keep your free account and chat to the folks you met who you struck up a friendship. No one’s going to stop talking to you because you downgraded. It’s a journey and we all have our own unique path to take. WA members honestly respect that.

I’ve been a quiet part of the WA community for nine years and technology has certainly changed from that first day I clicked a link on a website that did reviews on “internet get-rich programs”. WA was not considered a scam because they provided exactly what they promised: the tools and the opportunity to grow and scale your own online business at your own pace. The link I clicked on gave me a free membership account to browse around the site and try things out. There was a free website given to each member to play around with and learn or start growing your business.
If I wanted to take part in the more in-depth trainings and workshops or develop my free site further, then I had the choice of purchasing a membership that was $19 per month no contract or commitment to stay beyond a paid month. If you wanted a deal you could pay an annual fee that was $115 if I recall it was less than the price of six months at $19. That price stayed the same for a number of years.
What kept me an annual was the domain hosting deal for members. It was so much cheaper than the others and you got great service. The vast vault of knowledge they recorded and shared with members was all kinds of icing, sprinkles and cherries on the top for me.
The training just can’t be beat here at WA. More and more members became experts and they shared what worked for them with everyone else. People in the WA community want to help each other no matter their level of access. They are genuine and they use their own journey to success as examples you can visit and see for yourself.
I don’t know about other platforms because well I’m happy right where I am. You don’t go to Harvard and ask students to tell you what it’s like to attend Columbia or Yale or any other university or college. You need to do your own due diligence and make a choice that works for you.
What I can tell you from my own experience is that WA has nothing to hide. You can join for free and test things out for yourself. It isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme. It’s a generous sharing of tools that you can use to build whatever size online business you want. Or no business if you’re only interested in having the knowledge.
